Xibalba, focusing upon Mayan folklore, uses an interpretation of ideas from sacred text the Popol Vuh, not as a historical or ethnological lesson, but to vividly transport listeners into a tumultuous ancient world where Life & Death were perpetually intertwined. With Void in charge of the concept & lyrics and Sacr in charge of all music composition & arrangements, this album also involves the participation of Lars Nedland (Borknagar, Solefald) as the vocalist, and that of Vindsval (Blut Aus Nord, Forhist) as the bassist and guitarist. Released by Debemur Morti Productions on colored LP in gatefold jacket with a 2-page 12" cardboard printed insert, an A2 poster and a download card. This is the Debemur Morti Productions exclusive edition on exclusive gold nugget heavy vinyl limited to 98 copies, with an exclusive silkscreened hand-printed and hand-numbered slipcase (#51/98 for this one). Brand new copy that comes unsealed and has never been played. The poster has a tiny bend on the lower left corner and some wear at the middle of the bottom edge; the gatefold cover has very minor crease on the upper right corner of the front panel, which is not visible from the front side; the slipcase has a line of crease on the right-hand side of the bottom edge. Please see the pictures for your reference. All the small imperfections above were caused by shipping, and everything else is in flawless condition. The digital download code is also unused.
