Description: Up for sale is my '99 Flamekat. Fabulous guitar! Looks awesome. Plays great, too. It is ready to rock!The Flamekat is similar to the Wildkat, but with different pickups and of course, the flame paint job. It has an Ebony fretboard with dice inserts. Dice knobs and custom truss rod cover to match (original Gibson cover included.) Mini humbuckers, master volume, two pickup volumes and one tone knob. 3 way switch. Upgraded locking Hipshot 18:1 tuners and a roller bridge for tuning stability. I just did a full body clean up and fret polish. The dice inserts on the fretboard have a lot of depth to them that is hard to capture on camera. Minor scratches here and there. The only spot that I had to touch up was a small circle of gloss black that was near a mounting bolt on the Bigsby. See the photos. The pickups are original. They are very clear and bright so I honestly heard no reason to change them. They reminded me of a pair of TV Jones I had on a Gretsch I used to own. Setup is .040" at the 12th fret and .040" at the 19th fret and plays nicely. Intonation was set with a strobing tuner. Weight: 8 lbs, 15oz.
