Description: This is a vintage 1930s Epiphone Electar Model M lap steel. Nicknamed "Darth Steel" around the shop here, the Model M intended as the company's first deluxe steel guitar, and features a metal-faced wood body that is rumored to have been designed by Epi Staphopolo himself in the art deco tradition. It has a horseshoe pickup that was professionally rewound by Gemini Pickups. It is in very good shape with expected nicks, dings, and scuffs here and there. It plays great and sounds fantastic.
