Description: It kills me to sell this Fizmo but I've not even turned on ANY of my keyboards in six months. It needs a better owner.NOTE I AM LISTING THIS UNIT ON MULTIPLE VENUES so if you see this ad multiple places and are concerned if I am the real seller, feel free to ask for proof I am the real seller! Not a problem! The UnitThis is a USA-built Fizmo Rack, initially sold in the Japanese market and still here. However, it doesn't really matter as the Fizmo itself only had one model. They didn't make different models for different markets, because the power supply is external. The power supply supplied works in Japan but you can easily buy one for your local market. The manual of course is Japanese, but don't worry, as the manual is available in other languages on-line. The ConditionPlease see the photos to verify the exact condition. I would call it not quite factory-new, but you need to judge for yourself. If you want higher resolution, I put the original 45MP photos on my old website at moselle-synth do+ com . I am the second owner, according to the previous owner. The rubber knobs have a very light dusting of white on them. It may have been like that at time of manufacture. It may come off with use. There may be a way to clean it off. Other knobs have very small pieces of rubber sticking out from the knob just a bit from the molding process, that would have worn off with even a few hours of use. So, I don't think the previous owner really used it much at all, and I haven't either. The Fizmo had one serious issue. Some very large number of Fizmo's were sold with bad power regulators (the LM2940). While this is a good component in itself, it did not necessarily have the specs to deal with this circuit. It would sometimes fail, causing other parts to be damaged. The manufacturer Ensoniq sent a repair notice to authorized service centers. When I bought this, it indeed had the LM2940. I had Tokyo's pre-eminent vintage synth repair shop Symplex take care of it. The guy fixed it EXACTLY as the Ensoniq factory repair notice described. He assures me that the LM2940 was still working fine and there was no chance of damage. The power supply looks as if it hasn't been used. The power cable is still tied together apparently as a new item would be.The power supply box and manual show signs of medium-light wear.My repair guy gave me the original power regulator that he replaced, so of course I'm throwing that in.The magazine is NOT included; I just pictured that to demonstrate the date to you! The DealPlease note that I am listing this keyboard on a variety of platforms so you will see the same unit listed elsewhere. You are welcome to ask me to confirm I am the same person doing all listings: I can just put your name or a word you choose on each listing, so you can verify it's the same person. (Or I can take a photo with me and a current headline, whatever you want.) I have probably 100 good feedbacks for music and camera equipment sales, between the major platforms, and most of these have been international shipments.I will pay for shipment anywhere in Asia, North America or Western Europe. Other places I may need you to pay shipment. I won't necessarily pay the fastest shipment but it will be something less than two weeks.Of course, the original box is part of the charm so I won't use that as the shipping box. I will put the keyboard into the original box and then in another box. And since the original box still has the factory box inserts, I am certain the unit will arrive in good condition. The shipping will be 100% insured, but the buyer must promise to keep ALL packing materials, otherwise it is impossible to get the insurance to pay. I also request the buyer not try to fix anything themselves, but we let a professional do it if necessary. There will be no return and no refund accepted if you do not keep all packing materials or if you try to fix any issues yourself. You are welcome to return, no excuse necessary, within 30 days, for a 10% "restocking" fee. You pay return shipping, and I will refund you once I receive it. If it arrives back damaged, we will get that repaired and handle your return insurance before I do the refund. Note I have never had a return out of 100s of sales since 1995. I just go into details here so there's no confusion about how I would handle a return. There is no guarantee other than the fact it is working perfectly now, and that shipping will be fully insured. If it isn't working upon arrival, I would be almost certain it is just an internal cable knocked loose or something and your local repair guy will fix such a thing, and I (or our insurance) will pay for it.
