Description: Engine Turned Octagonal Pill Box Gilt Interior German 800 Silver German 800 standard silver pill box, having octagonal form body with hinged lid, decorated with engine turned patterns and oval reserve on the top. Interior is matte gilt. Maker's mark "H&W". This nice box is 1 5/8" in diameter, 5/8" tall and weighs 18.8 grams. Normal use marks. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition, having use marks consistent with age and normal use, with no monograms, removals, repairs or modifications, make this an especially attractive offering.
