Description: Encyclopaedia of Chess Endings, 5 Volume Set, published between 1982 and 1993 by Chess Informant, Ltd. Five hardcover books, 383, 446, 426, 422 and 563 pages, respectively. Text is primarily in "chess" but the introductory text is in multiple languages, including English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian, et al. Good condition. The jackets have a few tears, one inch or less, plus a variety of surface wear: small nicks, light scratches, edge bends. Vol. 5 has streaky wrinkles in its lamina covering the jacket. Small pencil checkmarks were erased from 16 pages in Vol. 1 (see the first three pics of text). Should now be unmarked. The bindings are intact. There are two pages in Vol. 5 that are wrinkled. Note: the camera flash makes the jackets appear brighter than they actually are. I will also have the Encyclopaedia of Chess Openings five volume set available. Free shipping in the USA.
