Description: This encased Lincoln/Wheat penny from 1937 was offered as a souvenir at the Northwest Territory Celebration in Winona, Minnesota, on August 18, 1938. Dates on the silver-tone rim are 1787-1788 and 1937-1938. The flip side (with Lincoln) has a horseshoe and clover design with the words "Keep Me and You Will Have Good Luck." There doesn't appear to be very much wear to the coin so it was likely not carried around for long. There are some scratches and discolorations to the silver and some green oxidation to the penny. I didn't try to clean it. Please look closely at the photos and email me with questions. I pack carefully and ship same or next business day from Arkansas with free tracking. Satisfaction guaranteed or money cheerfully refunded.
