Description: Selling is a Vintage Original 7 11/16" X 9 7/8" Black & White glossy photo with borders of ELEANOR HOLM from the 1930s. There is a BLACK Ink, DELL PUBLISHING COMPANY stamp, on the back of the photo (see scan). There is a photographer stamp on the front bottom, right corner of the photo stating, MURRAY KORMAN. This photo includes an original letter written by Eleanor Holm to Mr. Richard Lamparski, the author of the "WHATEVER BECAME OF..." book series. The actress tells Mr. Lamparski that she has never remarried and other information about herself for his book "Whatever became of". This letter is dated "July 30, 1967" and has an original autograph for ELEANOR HOLM at the conclusion of the letter (see scan). The address of the actress is at the top of the letter. ELEANOR HOLM won the 1932 Olympic Gold Medal in swimming for the 100 meter backstroke. She was also a 1932 WAMPAS Baby Star. She was born in 1913. She is approximately 20 years old in this photograph. I have reduced the price from 149.99 to 124.99. Photo is in Excellent Condition, with very minimal handling wear. Superb resolution and focus.
