Description: In 1967, the Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant (KOMZ) began production of the small-sized narrow-film film camera Ekran-4. The camera was designed for 2x8 mm. film (16 mm film) 10 m long (7.5 m after trimming the exposed ends) on a standard reel. The film was exposed in two passes and, after development, was cut along the center line into two parts. A distinctive feature of the camera is a rotating turret with three lenses. The main standard lens "Saturn-6" is 1.8/12.5. And the other two had afocal attachments of 0.5 and 2 diopters and allowed shooting with different capture angles. No focusing was provided. The lens provided frame sharpness from 1 m to infinity. Shooting frequency 8, 16, 24, 48 fps. and time-lapse photography. The camera drive is spring driven.
