Description: Here we have a four way file/rasp for camp and bushcraft projects. It is roughly eight inches long with flat file, flat rasp, half round file, and half round rasp. The file is new and we hand craft the sheath to fit for easy storage and to protect other items in your pack from this tool. This is a great item to have handy when doing those outdoor projects where you would like to remove material fast or to smooth up your carvings when making spoons, forks, mallets, and other items in camp. It is also great for general use with other projects around the camp, shop, or home as well. Can also keep a keen edge on your axe, hatchet, or tomahawk if needed. Price update 12/6/22: The reason for the slight price increase as of today is because I have upgraded the file in this kit to a Nicholson. If you know files then you know they are the best. The files I was using were great and function just fine but I wanted to upgrade, so I decided to bump up to the Nicholson, which costs several dollars more. The sheath is made from leather, mountain man style, with the majority of the tool encased inside. It is double hand stitched with high strength artificial sinew, and has a belt loop just in case you need one. Colors range from brown to black and, being handmade, color will vary from one to the other. They are treated with our own brand of leather conditioner and are compact enough to not take up much room in your pack. Remember, this is a file inside a leather sheath. When new, the file will scrape some leather out when being used until it is broken in, and this is completely normal. The stitching is far enough away from the cutting edges to not be bothered and it is a durable sheath. Great little addition to your tool box or your bushcraft tool kit.
