Description: Stunning Majolica pedestal Compote. It is marked 215/305 and embossed “Eichwald” “Czechoslovakia” and the number “4097”. It also has a written the numbers 2954 and 39 (see pic). It measures 8”high x13” length and bowl is 3” deep. There are 2 places that are questionable. 1. There is a red mark on the rim that looks like a flaw. It is flush with the rim and does not look like a repair. 2. Under the rim it does look like a chip that maybe has been repaired, but is not in a visible place. (See pics) This is an estate sale find.
