Description: Edwardian Platinum Filigree Diamond Pearl Bar Pin Brooch Presented is a delightful platinum bar pin with millgrain decoration on the top and filigree work on the sides. At the center of the pin is a wonderful 12 point mine cut diamond with a lot of life and sparkle. The diamond is flanked on either side by 10 pearls. The pin was made around 1910. The bar pin is marked with a maker's mark and the word platinum on the reverse. The bar pin is in excellent condition. One of the pearls is worn and may have been replaced. Otherwise, there are no problems. The other 19 pearls are well-matched, well set, and have nice luster. The diamond is securely set and has no chips, no cracks, and no problems. There are two other small diamonds, one at either end. The clasp is strong and fastens securely. There are no breaks and no repairs. The bar pin measures 2 1/2 inches long.
