There is a stick inside that allows for the head turn. And, there’s a lever on that stick that creates the eye blinking feature. What a wonderful and captivating item. This would be great for Halloween too. The fur used to create the feathers includes many faux fur variations and textures. His ears have wispy black ends. The beak is a hard black plastic. The feet are a synthetic vinyl type fabric. The wings are wide and the tail is long. He measures from ears to the bottom of the tail approximately 20 inches long. The sewn in tag indicates he’s original Folkmanis. The tag reads, “Folkmanis Puppets. © Folkmanis Puppets Inc. All Rights Reserved.” The back of this tag notes this item was made in China and is recommended for ages 3 and up. A second tag notes the polyester fiber content.
