Description: This is an early Waterbury mantel clock in a tombstone case. The case is in nice condition with some slight losses, mostly on the corners. The veneer is stable and more intact than allot of clocks of this style with only minor loss. The dial is original, but has been restored with a paper face. The clock was wound and ran while it was being listed. When the hands were cycled, the clock chimed. Like allot of these earlier movements, this one only chimes on the top of the hour; no half hour chime. The last service is unknown and it wasn’t tested for accuracy or run duration. This is a clock that was in storage so it may require some adjustments. It’s being sold as found, for restoration. It’s an early Waterbury and priced to sell so don’t miss it!
