Terrific old slatted bucket with wood finger wrap bands, great display appeal & patina. Buckets like this are so old it gets harder to date them exactly, but this appears to be pre to early 1800's & maybe as far back as 1750's. But again, once they get to a certain age there is no way to know without complete written provenance. We acquired from a Selective Antique Collector's Estate who had lots of early America New England area items from her travels. Incredible display piece & an amazing addition to any home or collection. Lots of vintage wear adds to charm. There is a split in bottom and staves have some flex and gaps, but fairly solid overall.
