Description: Early blue Delft plate we believe was made in the 19th century. The plate displays a gentlewoman standing gesturing to the building in the distance with a gentleman leaning towards her talking. He is wearing a turban and shoes with upturned toes. May have been a gentleman residing in India. The plate is in good condition with old firing marks on the back and very minor wear to the glaze around the rim edge.
