Issued as part of their States series, this was introduced in 1897. The small compote measures 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) long per side and 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) tall. This small open compote or footed bowl is in excellent used condition with no cracks, noticeable scratches, nor repairs. There is a small chip or rough spot on one corner of owl at rim, see photos. Compote is used so there may be faint surface scratches, minimal wear, or other indications of use. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There may be bubbles, shear (straw) marks, and other minor imperfections due to the glass making process used at the time.
