The EAA Bounty Hunter, made by Weihrauch of Germany and imported by European American Arms in Florida, incorporates a transfer bar safety and a slightly larger frame than the Colt SAA, capable of handling the .44 Magnum. The Bounty Hunter owes its lineage to the well known Hawes Western Marshall revolvers, made by the J.P. Sauer & Sohn firm in Germany from the late 1960’s to the 1970’s. J.P. Sauer later acquired the Swiss gunmaker SIG, changing the company name to Sig Sauer. At that time, Sauer began focusing on autoloaders and sold its revolver operation and tooling to Herman Weihrauch Waffenfabrik, who added a transfer bar safety and continued production of the revolver as the Bounty Hunter. What these will NOT fit: Please note that these grips are made to fit ONLY the EAA BOUNTY HUNTER Single Action revolvers.
