Simply clean and a lovely perspective. This piece is from the last era of Fletcher's life. His appoach is gentle and not as dramatic as his earlier works. It is oil on board dating from approximately 1930 - 1942. It has a wood and gilt frame showing a few niks but it is solid. Overall this is a serene peaceful landscape and Fletcher consistently painted from riverbanks and barges and other marine conveyances.
