Description: First mass market paperback edition, second state copy of Dune by Frank Herbert (Ace Books, 1965). Second cover art variation, illustrated by John Schoenherr. Increasingly scarce and collectible vintage edition of this masterwork of science fiction. Moderate rubbing/scuffing to covers and wear around the edges, especially to corners. Spine is curved, with creases and related splits to binding (the most notable being on page 256, shown in last photo). A few pages near end of book appear to have been creased during production/binding, however all text is visible despite this error. Small number stamp on bottom outer edge of text block, otherwise all pages are clean and unmarked though tanned. See photos for condition. Packaged with care and shipped via USPS Media Mail
