On occasion I will venture into a different pattern, however I am like M. C. Escher who wrote, "Sometimes I think I have trodden all the paths - and then I suddenly discover a new path and experience fresh delights." The Path Over and Around has once again allowed me to experience fresh delights from new ideas as well as fresh inspiration from sole old paths. Note: this book is signed by author to Betty. The Drunkard's Path Easy Curve Templates, 2" through 6" by The Path Less Traveled. Any three consecutive templates (1/4" apart) create a set. The smallest template creates the concave piece. The middle template is used to draw a 1/4" seam allowance for either hand or machine piecing. The largest template is used to cut the convex piece. Additional ways to use these templates include: 1. design and mark quilting patterns, 2. make the starting square larger or smaller. When the square is the size of the side of the largest of the three templates, the curve seam will go from corner to corner. and 3. use a second, smaller set of templates to double cut and piece the quarter circle.
