Check the thread of your Dremel® FIRST, and THEN choose your thread from the drop down list. Most modern, (post 1983), Dremel models have ¾ X 12 tpi ! The only ¾ X 16 tpi models are as follows... Dremel models - #270, 370 & 380 ALL are ¾ X 16 tpi - Ryobi model HT20vs is also ¾ X 16 tpi - Black and Decker, Craftsman and Alltrade so far seem to be all ¾ X 12 tpi. WEN model 2305 is 3/4" x 12tpi, (older WEN/Taurus may be M18 X 1.5 metric). By placing the 3/8 inch shank in your LANTERN STYLE toolholder, you will be able to use your Dremel® tool as a cut-off tool to very precisely cut your bolts, screws to length! Great for the pen turner who wants to trim the brass inner tube or make his own tubes from bulk tubing! Custom cue makers have found this to be a great item! Precise grinding can be achieved by using the many sizes and profiles of grinding stones, discs etc. on the market while in your lathe's compound. Placing off-center holes in your projects while held in your lathe's chuck and using a drill bit in the moto-tool is easier than moving it to the drill press and having to do a set up again!
