Description: This SPR-4 Receiver is used, but in impeccable original cosmetic condition, with the exception of an engraved number on the top cover not associated with the actual serial number. The original incandescent lamps have been replaced with blue LED's to give it the original hue when first purchased. Operationally the receiver was tested and no issues or shortcomings were evident. This analog receiver has amazing sensitivity. Drake did continuous improvement on the SPR-4's circuits and with the very high serial number this was produced in the later production years with all of the refinements. This unit comes with 9 stock crystals; .5/1.0/6.0/7.0/9.5/11.5/15.0/17.521.5 MHz installed which covers the majority of your medium and shortwave broadcasts. Included with the unit is its special AC power cord, mute bypass plug, Coaxial adapter plug, a copy of the technical manual, a CD with manual, technical,& service information and copies of many brochures about Drake & the SPR-4.
