You can also create a mix of sand and potting soil for better drainage. 2. Plant the dragon fruit seeds about 1/4 inch deep in the growing medium. You can plant multiple dragon fruit seeds in the same container. 3. Water the soil thoroughly after planting, and then keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Use a spray bottle to mist the soil regularly to maintain moisture. Cover the container with plastic wrap to create a mini greenhouse effect, which helps retain moisture. 4. Place the container in a warm, well-lit location with indirect sunlight. Maintain a temperature of around 75-80F (24-27C) for optimal germination. You might want to use aheat matfor this purpose. 5. Dragon fruit seeds can take anywhere from a few weeks to afew monthsto germinate. So be patient and continue to maintain the moisture and temperature conditions. 6. Once the seedlings have grown a few inches and have several true leaves, you can transplant them to larger pots or directly into your garden. Choose a warm sunny location with well-draining soil, preferably on mounded soil to make sure the soil drains well.
