What's on this DVD; Douglas SBD Dauntless - Slow, but Deadly The Douglas SBD Dauntless was naval scout aircraft and dive bomber and was the main carrier-borne scout plane and dive bomber from mid-1940 through mid-1944. Also was used by the USMC throughout the Pacific on American held Islands. Also, The SBD Dauntless sank 4 Japanese carriers in the battle of Midway, that changed the course of History.
