Description: This is a rare unused advertising postcard promoting the Original Broadway production of the JOHANN STRAUSS, GOTTFRIED REINHARDT and JOHN MEEHAN, Jr. operetta "ROSALINDA" ("Die Fledermaus") at the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre in New York City. (The production opened October 28th, 1942 at the Forty-Fourth Street Theatre, moved to the Imperial Theatre on May 24th, 1943, returned to the Forty-Fourth Street Theatre on October 4th, 1943 and spent the final three months at the Forty-Sixth Street Theatre beginning November 15th, 1943. The show closed January 22nd, 1944 after 611 performances.) .....
