I personally grow and verified these are true purple raspberries. Live rooted starter plant. Ripens early to late summer. Raspberry 'Glencoe' was developed by the Scottish Crop Research Institute. This incredible raspberry has spine-free canes which are easy to manage. The growth habit is bushy and less vigorous than most raspberries, which are ideal traits for the homeowner market. The fruit has a lovely intense flavor that is enjoyed fresh or used for wines, sauces, and preserves. You are getting a rooted starter plant, all you need to do is plant and water and make sure it gets sun and your new plant will grow quickly for you and produce years of food for you, friends and family. This is a hardy plant that gives many large tasty berries.
