Description: This PIN celebrates not only Disney's DONALD DUCK, but Pasadena, CA's Tournament of Roses, specifically Glendale, CA, which is next door to Pasadena, in the year of 1984. You'll see by the maker's mark on the back that reads: copyright Walt Disney Prods., Tournament of Roses, copyright 1984, Officially Licensed Product, Milestone. The Tournament of Roses put out a whole set that year and I will eventually list all of them I have, which is a lot. But for now, I am listing this Disney Donald Duck Pin for you. He is a cutie and is cloisonne and in great condition, with one thing...part of 1984 has rubbed off on the front but is clear on back. It measures about 1" x about 3/4". Disney did not co-sponsor all of the set, but for some reason did involve Donald Duck. This is a great addition to your Collection and as you will read how I came by it in the next paragraph, because it is rare and quite old. There was Pin Fever everywhere and some of us collected every interesting Pin we came across. And to be sure, this Pin WAS traded for back in 1984-1985, and is AT LEAST that old. Then they all were put in storage until now. I am finally starting to wade my way through the surplus Pins. These are all from my mother's collection and I'm talking a lot of misc. Pins, so I have my work cut out for me. HaHa.
