Description: Dogs & Cats SET 4 Greetings Antique Postcards. ARTIST: Weaver This is a nice selection of DOGS & CATS Greetings postcards that would have been sent out for Best Wishes and Friendship. These are ANTIQUE postcards from the early 1900s. These postcards were all drawn by the USA artist, E. Weaver, who was known for his animal COMIC / HUMOR illustrations. These postcards show the animals in various scenes, and they have friendly and romantic messages. A number of these have a “play on words” that is humorous. These are nicely drawn postcards with good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. These are collector items because of their interesting themes and how they have a glimpse of life back in the early 1900s. Overall, a nice selection of dog and cat postcards at a reasonable price. The postcards are UNPOSTED (3) and POSTED (1) with a cancel of 1923. They are flat printed and have divided backs. They were "Made in USA." These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and the backs. The postcards are shipped in a sturdy envelope. We only ship within the USA; we do not ship internationally. USA shipping is with tracking, and we use eBay Standard Envelope mail when the value is under $20 and the weight is under 3 oz; and, we use USPS First Class mail when the value is over $20 or the weight is over 3 oz.
