This vase was created using the Raku technique and is an artist proof numbered 28/50. Vase measures approximately 10" wide x 5.5" deep x 16" high and is in excellent condition. The cracks that appear in the piece are intended as part of the technique, the outer glaze cracks as the vase cools when removed from the kiln and is then introduced to combustive materials invoking smoke and carbon into the cracks and clay which create a distinct finish.
