This sings or talks when the lid is lifted but I don't have the proper batteries (3 AG 13 batteries) so it is untested. It measures about 9 5/8" tall x 10" x 10". It is in very nice condition, I only see 1 small paint chip on the back edge. I find most of my auction items at estate sales and yard sales. There may be some smoke or pet or musty odors, I will make a note of any odors in the description. I try to clean things as much as possible, if something needs extra attention, I will let you know.
