Description: Untitled DocumentPR Offered is this very hard to find Northern Virginia edition of Disco Scene II magazine from November 1968. Previously known as Disco Scene, then Disco Scene II, by this point in time they started minimizing "Disco" in the magazine title. Disco Scene/ (II) was a high quality, glossy stock music magazine published from approximately 1966 to 1969. It had very limited regional distribution, and I believe it was principally based in Philadelphia. But, as you can see on the Table of Contents page this issue has a local Springfield, Virginia contact mailing address and name, top left of the page, and a page dedicated to the local retail outlets. Besides the national and well known music artists, the regional music scene is also covered in each issue, along with some other pop culture issues such as fashion, celebs, electronics, etc. The regional music coverage and adverts made each issue slightly different from the Disco Scene magazine published in other regionsMeasures: 11"x 8.5", and is 60 pages in length The cover features, Linda Rondstadt, with an interior article on her with many photos. Feature on Janis Joplin and Arthur Brown. Large fold out poster of Arthur Brown remains bound in place and has never been removed from the magazine.
