Description: Replace the stock Bowden setup with this direct drive mount. You basically just have to remove the top two screws on the current metal mount, and screw this new one into the top holes. What you get: x2 (two) direct drive mounts.Directions:Step 1: Print the mountStep 2: Disassemble old bowden extruder.Step 3: Remove 2 top screws on metal mountStep 4: Attach new Printed mount ontop of metal mount.Step 5: Assemble extruder and motor to the new mount.Step 6: Cut a small part of the old bowden filament tube and connect the drive to the hot end.That's it! It's super simple and easy.It should take you no more than 5 minutes to replace after you printed the part.(Edit: There may be excess belt pieces' that are sticking out where the metal screw holes are. You do not need to cut or remove this. Simply place the new 3d printed mount on the belt pieces and screw it in.
