Description: This is a Dewey bore cleaning rod and a Muzzle Guide for a Ruger 1022 with a heavy or bull barrel. The rod will also work on larger calibers depending on the brush used. The cleaning rod is about 24" long plus about 3" for the red handle. The rod comes complete with a double female connector to adapt to fit your 8-32 thread brush and a 22 caliber patch jag. The guide is from Dewey and is Delrin so it will not mar or scratch. It is about 1 1/2 " long. This will NOT WORK on the standard barrel as it will be too loose because of the diameter.. The photo used is a 22 caliber pistol rod and that was used to show both ends of the rod - handle and brush ends - in the photo. Yours will obviously be longer and will be long enough to allow you to clean from the back and still go all the way through and reach thru your upper receiver area.
