Description: Nice Devilbiss JGA-510 HVLP Pressure Feed spray gun. This gun has a nozzle set in it that Devilbiss used to package and market as The Maximum Performer Nozzle Set. It includes the 46MP HVLP Air Cap, the AV-2120-FF .055 or 1.4mm Fluid Nozzle, and the JGA-402-FF Fluid Needle. The last picture shows how this Nozzle Set was packaged and is only for reference as these parts are already in this gun. This gun also has a nice Devilbiss 1 quart pot that is rated for up to 20psi. Most modern 1 quart pots sold by the big manufacturers are rated for only 10psi pot pressure. Pressure is sent to the pot by a Binks metering valve and a blue air tube with check valve. The metering valve has an outlet air nipple and the valve controls only air pressure sent to the pot. Gun atomization air pressure is controlled by the setting at the compressor. When I tested this gun with paint thinner the metering valve was opened only about 3/4 of a turn or so and it was plenty to atomize the thinner and spray it nicely. The gun pressure was set to 40psi at the compressor. Thicker product may require opening the metering valve (cheater valve) more. Please refer to the pictures to see the condition of the gun and cup. They are very clean. The Binks metering valve is brand new. These valves are hard to find with the outlet nipple.
