Description: We still have a few very unique DEVILS CLAW pods. They came up in our vegetable garden last year and I thought it was a squash plant. Needless to say they were well tended and well watered all summer long. FYI our squash plants did really great this year with this Devils Claw plant growing large and proud among them. They are all natural and pretty resilient. They are all different and weird looking. As they are all different looking we cannot assure that the few that you receive will look any better or worse than the photographed ones. I simply took the pictures to give you a general idea of what they look like. Some of them have lost one of the horns or similar and those I will try not to send out. If I was more artistic I could envision them as birds feet or Dali's mustache or ballet dancing legs or as a weird Mexican cowboy boot in a piece of art. Or better yet grab a few and your inner artist can make a truly unique piece... like an octopus or something. They kinda portray movement or even windiness when you position them in a certain ways. FYI>>> The Devils Claw plant is also medicinal and was used as an old cowboy health remedy primarily used for arthritis and similar aches and pains. Today, with big pharma being what it is, it's not used too often for that purpose (like how willow tree bark was used for headaches prior to aspirin). I think that getting the proper dosage correct from the devils claw is difficult. I believe American Indians made tea out of it and also out of the root which is bright orange and looks kinda like a giant piece of ginger or ginseng. If you do purchase I will ship them in a small box with padding to try and keep them intact and looking great. I originally estimated high to ship which was for a boxed item but now that I have shipped I adjusted the shipping costs down... I have now lowered shipping to under $3.00 They really don't weigh all that much but are a little larger than you would think for a seed pod. A couple of the pictures have a quarter in the page for size reference. If you order more than 1 we can dilute the shipping substantially as I will just add around half a dollar to the shipping for each additional pod that I place inside the box.
