Manufacturer: Denver Instrument Condition: Used. This balance scale is in good/fair cosmetic condition with scuffs and scratches from regular commercial use. It was last calibrated on 6/15/16. The top enclosure is broken and missing a small piece on the front of the balance that does not seem to affect the functionality of the balance or the integrity of the enclosure (see photo). We have given this scale a quick clean with normal household cleaners, but some grime and stains could not be removed. Notes: We leveled the balance by adjusting the feet and applied power to observe the LED display which was bright and clear. We navigated the menu using the control buttons and the scale was responsive as designed. We set the scale to auto-zero, but the scale read -0.0032oz with no weight applied. We placed an 8 oz test weight (not included) on the scale and the balance read 7.9885. So, the scale accurately weighs the test weight but the zero function is slightly off. No additional testing was performed. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.
