Description: Denver Die Cast ~ 2015-17 Ford F-150 FX4 Wide Body ~ Green "O" Gauge Raptor (?) This Denver Die Cast 2015-17 Ford F-150 FX4 is a replica of the Raptor model...sort'a. It is New in an Unopened Box. Besides the opening doors, the tombstone grill and backwards FX4 graphics, wide body fenders, fender flares and great looking off road tires & wheels, all make me believe the manufacturer wants us to believe it is a Raptor model. Althought, it is not marked as such. Interestingly, Menards who normally are sticklers about licensed products issued this without a Ford license and it is not marked anywhere as a Ford. In fact, the graphics identifying as F4X is incorrect since Ford's offroad graphics are always FX4. None-the-less, it's a nice diecast model with lots of details and it is perfect for collectors, displays, or "O" guage layouts. I love the green color of the pickup and along with the head ache rack & off road lights add a unique touch to the model. I thought for sure when I first saw it the size of it being almost 5" long indicated to me that it was a 1:43 scale. It is supposed to be a 2015-2017 Ford Supercab with the short 5'5" bed. Here are the scale calculations:Wheelbase - Full size model = 132.50" ➗ 2.83" of the model = 1.468 or 1:47 scale.Length - Full size Supercab = 216.2" ➗ 4.8" of the model = 1:45.02 or 1:45 scaleWidth - Full size Supercab = 78.9" ➗ 1.73" cab only of the model = 1:45.6 or 1:46Experts usually use the wheelbase comparison to determine scale but I prefer to analyze all dimensions. So, this one to me is a 1:46 scale, which is still great for "O" gauge. Please Read!
