Description: This is a “kit” I have compiled that will allow you to replace your cracked or broken Delta 22-540 upper frame at a lower cost than buying an used original. PLEASE NOTE: THE CUTTER HEAD SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS IS NOT INCLUDED. IT IS FROM AN ORIGINAL DELTA 22-540 AND IS ONLY IN THE PHOTOS FOR REFERENCE TO SHOW THAT IT FITS The reason why I call this a “kit” is because there are a few subtle differences between this and the 22-540 but I have included the necessary parts to make it work. 1) the 22-540 roller bushings were cube shaped. The ones required for this frame are slightly different but those along with their updated brackets are included with this one. The rollers are a direct fit from your old machine 2) the height indicator is in a different location that the 22-540s. You can either remove the one from your 540 and adhere it to the same place on this one or modify your measuring guide to make it match the indicator that will come with this frame All other parts are a direct swap. You will transfer your rollers, gear box, sprockets, cutter head, and motor. Those will all bolt right in. Again, the cutter head shown in this ad is for reference only.
