Description: Shipping: I ship in Uline S-165 11 1/8 x 8 5⁄8 x 2" Kraft Easy-Fold Mailers with two S-2437 8 1⁄2 x 11" 150 lb Corrugated Pads per comic book. Each comic book will be enclosed in a mylar archival comic book bag with an acid free archival quality backing board then gently secured between the corrugated pads. I ship comics USPS Ground Advantage. About Me: I used to be an avid comic collector. I always had a copy of the Overstreet guide and was always on the lookout for comics on my wish list. I even worked in a comic book store for about a year when I was in college. That was a long time ago. I never lost the love of comics, but the space to store a big collection became problematic and I sold my very large collection in the late 1980’s. I just never started collecting again. About This Listing: Publisher, series, issue, and title: MY GREATEST ADVENTURE , No. 82, Sept., 1963 NATIONAL PERIODICAL PUBLICATIONS “The Doom Patrol - Three Against the Earth” First impression: Pretty cover, rough condition. Degree of gloss: Moderate. Condition of cover: An inch long gouge near the center, several book length creases, significant wear with some minor tears along the right edge, an abraded spot just above the title box at the top and general wear at the top edge, several small scratches. Corners: Both right corners are missing a small piece, both right corners are rounded. Spine and staples: The bottom staple is mostly shiny, the top discolored. The staple placement is pretty good, but there is some slight spine roll. There is quite a lot of wear and some small tears around the top staple, the bottom staple has similar wear but less severe. There is a ½” long split at the bottom of the spine. There is a light crease, about 3” long, that runs along the spine near the middle. Original staples: Yes. Interior staples: Clean, tight, and centered. There is a little tearing around the top staple, but the centerfold is still firmly attached. Paper color and condition: Off-white, darker at the edges, slightly stiff but not brittle. Smell: Slightly sweet. Interior condition: Some reading wear to the corners. The diagonal crease in the cover at the top right is imprinted on several of the pages toward the front of the book. There is a tear in the margin at the bottom of one page toward the back. If I had to give it a grade: 2.5 Good+ I am not a professional comic book grader, but I have done my best to describe and photograph the comic being offered in this listing.
