Description: Darda Car made in West Germany Vintage New – Turbo – Metallic Blue This Darda Car has the Shell Oil logo and Shell 5 on the hood. The original pull-back Darda Cars were made in West Germany from the 70s to late 80s. The vintage Darda cars had metal bodies, later in the 90s they were made with plastic bodies in China. ‘The unique point of the Darda Car is the special Darda Motor, invented by Helmut Darda in 1970, which propelled the cars (similarly sized to Matchbox or Hot Wheels) at speeds of up to 30 mph (50 km/h).’ (excerpt from Wikipedia) There are some remnants of a sticker on one end of the box, other than that the box is in very nice condition, refer to the pictures.
