Description: Offered is an Antique ~ Collectible ~ CV - Central Vermont Railroad Conductor Lantern. The frame is not stamped for a manufacturer although this type and style of lettering on lid is in fact Star Headlight Mfg. Co. Note: for example of lettering: The last two photos show a WMRR Star Headlight Co. frame I had sold on eBay 6-7 years ago, same stamped letters with angled straight tail on the letter R and same dome non brass top. No other company that I know of made this style. Has an etched extended base globe for CVRR - and is suspect to me if that is original? Twist off bell has the ice spikes and a twist out glass fuel font with nice E MILLER ratchet burner. No paint on frame and is in overall good condition. This CVRR frame is more hard to find than others for this railroad. Ships well packed for transport and cost depends on your location from WA state. Thanks for looking!
