The dish features a scalloped lid with a floral motif handle and a gold band encircling the outer rim of the lid. The dish is smooth with leaf motif handles. Despite its Anglo-sounding name, Shafford dishware was produced in Japan. Shafford exported pieces to the United States from Japan starting in the 1940s and ending in the 1970s.The dish measures approx. 11" Handle to Handle x 8 1/4" Diameter x 3" Height. Overall height with the lid measures approx. 4 3/4".
