Description: This is a customized front ring replacement for Leica 35mm Summilux 1.4 pre-asph V2. It replaces the black front rim with the Steel Rim style ring, which accepts E43 filters and the customized OLLUX hood replica. The modification is reversible and no damage to the lens. Screw off the three tiny screws on the front ring with a 0.8-1.0mm flat head screwdriver, then the original black front rim can be removed. Install the provided steel rim front ring in the same manner. Adjust the aperture ring to see if it gets too tight to rotate. If so, remove the front ring, place the provided gasket first and put the ring back. You can place one to two gaskets to keep the front ring clear from the aperture ring.
