The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one. This is indeed a unique offering of the songs by the incredible Johnny Rivers, a truly unique artist. Half a century ago Johnny had several hits, many of them being covers of songs that already had been on the charts. His version of 'Baby I Need Your Lovin' was the same song as the Four Tops version but had a completely different sound. The songs 'Mountain Of Love', 'Midnight Special', 'Maybelline', 'Tracks Of My Tears' and 'Positively 4th Street' all had a Johnny Rivers feel to each song, quite a change from the original hits by Smokey Robinson, Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan, the Mamas And Papas, the Beach Boys and others.
