These cannot be mounted by pressure and "click" like plastic ones, due to the specific limitations of the structure of the wood. Wood as natural material is extremly beautiful but in certain purposes it's brittle, rigid and not enough elastic, so you can only attach them by gluing. For firm handle installation scales MUST be glued. You will need small amount of glue (any 2-component epoxy will do the job) and couple of small clamps until glue is drying. Glue one side at a time to have enough time to work with - to perfectly position align one scale side before glue is dried.
