Description: It is a vintage offset litho reproduction approximately 60 years old of the famous work by Currier & Ives. It was published in 1952 by Crown Publishing, NY and appeared in Currier and Ives America. It is not to be confused with the 19th century original printed by Currier and Ives which often sell for over $1000. It is stated to be a reprint from the the Litho by Currier and Ives in the bottom right margin and the original copyright date of 1856 is also in the bottom center, with other details regarding the artist in the bottom left. It is printed on a heavy buff colored paper. On the reverse is a scene of Maple Sugaring. It is being sold as a single sheet photographed against a black background as seen in the main pic, and is not mounted, matted nor framed. Overall, it is a very nice quality reproduction that would frame up nicely. Size: The image area measures approximately 9 by 14 inches (23x35cm) on a 15 by 11 1/2" (29x38cm) page with a margin all around as seen in the pic.
