Description: The soles have issues; otherwise excellent. Mexican size 27.5 is equated to US size 9.The bottom of the soles show 5 animal pictures: Caiman, Lizard, Ostrich and Stingray are deerskin.Back to the soles: the dark brown layer that is closest to the rest of the shoe is a hard composite that's in excellent shape. The lower beige colored sole is an unknown molded type that is the problem. For one thing there were several cracks in it where the shoe flexes most. I filled the cracks with epoxy and am pleased that it bonded very well. However, I have no idea how long the sole will remain intact.Also the sides of that part of the sole look dirty and won't clean up. I recommend getting these re-soled and then you will have some excellent dress shoes. In the meantime, they make fine casual shoes. Any shoe trees pictured are only for the display and are not included.
