COROLLE COLLECTORS: 22” GIRL DOLL NAMED ”LOLA” #3952 FROM 1988

SUMMER SALE: ”Lola” is one of 4 dolls designed by Marie Ancelin for the Corolle Refarbet collection ”Les petites filles de Malou A” and featured in the 1988 catalog. She is 22” tall with a cloth body and vinyl head and limbs. Her face has the delicate look of porcelain, and she has freckles; her blue eyes are fixed (do not open and close), and she has long light-red wavy hair, which is in excellent condition. The doll and clothes look new, but there is no original carton, so she may have been displayed by a previous owner. She is dressed in her original calf-length pants made of blue fabric decorated with cherries and cherry blossoms, and a plaid cotton skirt. Over that is a blue long-sleeved tunic dress with a white eyelet trimmed peplum, cuffs and a pocket made of fabric matching the pants. She has a white hair ribbon with red polka dots, white socks, and white shoes with snap closures. Please note: the only fault is in the socks which have some tiny pin-point holes. Lola comes with a tag for directions to wash her hair. Labels on her body are intact. Online in France I discovered that she would have come with a certificate if she were in the original box.
