Description: This pen was made by the team of employees located at the Conway Stewart factory, in Plymouth Devon, accompanied by the official trademarked Conway Stewart warranty booklet and packaging. This exclusive handmade bespoke translucent resin veneer was not offered within their regular sterling silver Duro edition range, and was only reserved through their bespoke service at a premium of $200 that was added to the list price. The Conway Stewart Sterling Silver Duro model is based on the classic Duro design first introduced by Conway Stewart in the 1920s. The Conway Stewart Sterling Silver Duros’ barrels and caps are uniquely crafted from solid sterling silver rods. A translucent resin veneer is then applied by hand, allowing the silver beneath to shine through. It's an unusual material marbled with black, deep blue, and clear resin. The clear resin allows part of the highly polished silver of the pen to be visible, giving a unique and eye-catching finish. The wide polished cap bands are engraved with the Conway Stewart hallmarked logo, while the clip features the diamond Conway Stewart logo. Each piece has the Conway Stewart official hallmark as with all sterling silver pens made by Conway Stewart at the factory in Plymouth, Devon. The packaging has been designed to house your writing instrument and serve as a showcase pen stand for the desk. The display box is crafted of luxurious full-grain leather in rich black color. Not only is this an elegant and stylish presentation to house and protect your gift, the top of the lid can also be reversed to make an executive desk stand for display.
